Postira,
a picturesque place on the Dalmatian coast, which offers a series
of sandy, pebble and rocky beaches, is surrounded by pine forests,
olive-groves and vineyards and is a perfect choice for peaceful
and pleasant holidays.
In
its vicinity you will find a beautiful sandy cove called Lovrecina,
where the remains of an early Christian basilica from the 5th-6th
century were found. If you decide to go uphill, among olive-groves
you will come across the remains of a Roman villa rustica.
In the nearby village Dol you will be pleasantly surprised by a
typical Dalmatian konoba, where traditionally prepared dishes are
served.
